Katy Scruton-Roden

Broker/Owner

Katy, the founder of 3Z Property Management, is a successful business owner, real estate agent, and Broker with a career that began in 2010. Graduating from Texas State University in 2008, she established the company to raise funds and awareness for sleeping disorders, driven by her personal connection to narcolepsy. Katy is a passionate advocate for narcolepsy awareness, sharing her journey through public speaking events. She received a National Public Awareness Award in 2012. 3Z Management donates to nonprofits focused on sleep issues and won Best of Hays in 2022. Katy holds real estate designations such as the Texas Residential Leasing Specialist (TRLS), Texas Residential Property Manager (TRPM) and Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) and also served as past president of TX Hill Country National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM). Katy is a devoted mother and wife who finds joy in sports, crafts, and outdoor adventures.

Robby Roden

Co-Owner/ Broker of 3Z Realty

After acquiring a Bachelors Degree from Texas State University, Robby received his real estate license in 2006 and started 3Z Realty in 2012. With over 15 distinguished awards, certifications, and 17 years of experience in real estate he is well qualified to take on any residential, commercial, or property management project in Central Texas.

Hobbies include anything outdoors, especially water-related activities due to living in close proximity to the many rivers and lakes in Central Texas and having a passion for Kayaking & Scuba Diving.

His wife Katy is also an accomplished real estate broker with 12 years of experience, and his 2-year-old daughter is learning the ropes as their occasional "showing assistant." Collectively, Katy and Robby manage over 200 residential and commercial properties in San Marcos and surrounding areas and close on over $10 Million in residential and commercial sales annually.

Amanda "Mandy" Rhodes

Property Manager

Amanda Rhodes is a licensed Realtor and Notary Public in Texas, bringing a wealth of experience to her role as Property Manager. She earned her education from Missouri State University. Amanda began her career in banking, spending ten years in lending before being recruited as Loan Servicing Manager for a hard money lending company in South Austin. There, she managed a loan portfolio exceeding $74 million, focusing on commercial and multifamily construction loans.

Following this, Amanda played a pivotal role in building a comprehensive asset management and property investment company, where she served as Director of Operations. Her leadership was instrumental in scaling the business successfully. In 2019, Amanda founded her own real estate consulting firm, serving clients in Bentonville, AR, and Central Texas. Her expertise spans business operations consulting, CRM development, property management, and real estate acquisition and sales. With her extensive background and commitment to excellence, Amanda is dedicated to ensuring that every property is managed with the utmost care and professionalism.
